Wide pore fine ball silica gel
Wide pore fine ball is milky white spherical particles. The main component is SiO2.nH2O, which is insoluble in water and inorganic acid, but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic solution. High mechanical strength, good wear resistance. Its internal structure is pore volume 0.80-1.10ml/g, pore diameter 80-120 ｜, and specific surface area 350-460m2/g.
This product is mainly used as catalyst and catalyst carrier for important petrochemical products such as phthalic anhydride, aniline, maleic anhydride, melamine, acrylonitrile, etc. It is also widely used for refining petroleum products, selective adsorption and separation of some organic gases and liquid components. It can also be used as an ion exchanger to remove multivalent harmful elements from water. It is also used for dry storage of materials, instruments and other articles and for dehydration and refining of high-purity gas. Its technical indicators are shown in Table 4:
